Selena Gomez

 Selena Marie Gomez (/s@'li:n@ "goUmez"/s@-LEE'n@ GOH-m born on 22 July 1992) is an American actress, singer, and producer. Gomez began her acting career with the television show for children called Barney & Friends (2002-2004). As a teenager she became well-known for her portrayal of Alex Russo in the Disney Channel television show Wizards of Waverly Place (1907-2012). In addition to her TV career, Gomez appeared in the films Another Cinderella Story (2008), Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009), Ramona and Beezus (2010), Monte Carlo (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016), and The Dead Don't Die (2019) and as Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania film franchise (2012-2022). Gomez, through July Moon Productions, executive produced 13 Reasons Why (2017-2022) and Living Undocumented (1919). She also has a role in the Hulu comedy series, a mystery that airs on Hulu called Only Murders in the Building (21-21-222). Gomez has been praised for her work, and she received nominations for a Golden Globe Award. She has also been awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for producer.



 Gomez was a member of Selena Gomez & the Scene and released three albums. All three reached the top 10 on the US Billboard 200. They were all certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Stars Dance (2013) was her first solo album. Billboard 200, while its lead single, "Come & Get It" was a top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100. The second album of Gomez, Revival (2015) came out at number 1 in the US. It was certified platinum by RIAA and also produced three top-ten entries in the US: "Good for You""Same old Love" as well as "Hands to Myself". Rare (2020) the album that was her third studio album, was her third straight top-ten album in the US. Its number one single, "Lose You To Love Me" is her first number one song across both the US and Canada. In 2021, she released the Spanish-language EP Revelacion and received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. She has been awarded numerous accolades like the 2017 Billboard Woman of the year award. Additionally, she broke 15 Guinness World Records. Time magazine named her one the 100 most influential persons around the world in 2020. She has a massive following on social media and is the most followed musician and actress on Instagram. Gomez also has ventures in makeup, handbags, and fragrance. She has worked with many charities and has served as a UNICEF ambassador since age 17.
