Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as one of the members of the group One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo along with three other students. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. While he's always attracted to the arts, he interested in becoming an attorney or an physiotherapist. A part-time job in a city bakery was his first occupation in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. This is why his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd form a group named One Direction after the X Test audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. In the contest, the group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders to win the contest. They were however in third behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco record label.
