Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. Also, she is an actress. As an intelligent and attractive actress, she serves as a role-model for many Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. Following a string of appearances on popular television series her name was a household name after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Then she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii in the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, she also played the lead role in a few box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen parts, did not achieve much success. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully to prevent being stereotyped in a field which is extremely competitive. Liu has taken on her Chinese heritage but she doesn't allow it to restrict her creativity.
