His name was changed in 2017 from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. This was in honor of Young Kingz music group of which he is a member. The i of the name was replaced with a y. Myke Towers is a Puerto Rico-based rapper who has been in the scene since he was a teenager, published his very first compositions and freestyles via his SoundCloud page. His 2014 songs Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal as well as En los Bloques made him an international star. In 2014, he gained notoriety due to his La Nueva Droga freestyle and his interpretation of Drake's first track 0 to 100.
