Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1996 in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings. One of them is from each of her parents' prior marriages. After being with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes as well as participated in the drama department. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her goals were realized after she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
