Lee
Lee Roy Selmon blends the merits of football scholarship in his home with the benefits of community service. First family, he's the youngest of nine children of Lucious Selmon and Jessie raised on a farm at Eufala, Oklahoma. Another reason for his football career was that his father was the only of three brothers who played with Oklahoma. All three made All-America. Lucious Jr. Dewey, Lee Roy, and Lucious Jr. Dewey started the 1973 season. Lee Roy was named the best offensive lineman in the United States by Outland and Lombardi Awards. He was awarded two championships as well as the score was 32-1-1 over his three seasons as Oklahoma's main man. In 1975, he was awarded his third scholarship and was named the National Football Foundation scholar-athlete. Selmon received a bachelor's diploma from the University of California in Berkeley. Lee Roy was involved in volunteer work ten hour per week throughout his college years. In Tampa the Buccaneers, he was a player for the Buccaneers for nine seasons before becoming an all-pro. He also began an entrepreneurial career. The first position he held was an Account Relation Officer at First Florida Bank, Tampa. In the past, he worked previously for the Special Olympics Easter Seals Baptist Church Ronald McDonald House United Negro College Fund South Florida Institute Black Life Hall of Fame Bowl Committee. He was no surprise that the year 1982 was when the Junior Chamber of Commerce named Lee Roy as one of the ten outstanding young people across the country. Lee Roy was 6'2" tall and weighed 265lbs during his time playing college football. In 1975, he was on the team. group. In 1993, he joined at the University of South Fla's athletic department as its associate director. In 1993, the College Football Hall of Fame recognized the player as a member in the year the year 1988. GTE Academic All-America Hall of Fame, in 1994. Pro Football Hall of Fame, in 1995. In 1989 The Oklahoma City Chapter National Football Foundation presented the Distinguished American Award Mr. Lucious Jr. Henry Bellmon was the Oklahoma Governor that presented the award.
